Greetings! As the seasons change, we continue to grow here at the Farm. We have two new courses on offer: an advanced level of pronunciation, and an orientation course for new students.

こんにちは！季節の変わり目とともに私たち The English Farm の成長も感じております。今回のニュースは新しいコース（英語スピーキング・発音 上級、オリエンテーションコース (Second Edition)）と 今月のEmployee of the Month 受賞者のお知らせです。

先月、世界中からたくさんの新しい講師が The English Farm に加わりました！
レッスンのご予約がとりづらい状況が続いておりましたが、週に約700レッスンが追加となりますので、どうぞご安心ください。

簡潔ではございますが、講師出身地や現在地は下記の国々です。

Lots of new teachers from around the world have joined The English Farm in the last month, which means that there will be about 700 extra lessons available per week! 

There are too many new teachers to introduce individually, so let me just give you a quick run-down of where they're from and/or living right now:

Over the past 4 years, The English Farm has maintained consistent pricing. However, there are significant costs to hiring the best teachers and creating the best online learning space. 

Therefore, The English Farm will increase prices from April 1st. 

We are investing in a number of exciting developments. We are updating our site to be faster and easier to use, producing tools to help you learn better, introducing new courses and learning exercises, and improving training for our teachers.

さて、The English Farmでは４年間一貫した価格設定を維持して参りましたが、生徒様各位のご期待に添うべく、優秀な講師の雇用や快適なオンライン学習環境の開発や維持などの経費に、従来の価格を維持することが困難となりました。

つきましては、誠に不本意ながら、2021年4月1日（木）より、下記の通り価格を改訂させていただくことになりました。

いつもThe English Farmをご利用いただきありがとうございます。

レッスンのご予約、特に直近のレッスンご予約がとりづらい状況が続いておりご迷惑をお掛けしております。
数週間先のスロットはご予約枠に余裕がありますので、日にちに余裕をもって計画的にご予約いただくことをおすすめします。
万が一、ご予約いただきましたレッスンを欠席される際はお早めにキャンセルをいただきますようお願いいたします。

なお、講師陣には可能な限り予約スロットを開放するよう継続的に周知してまいります。

また、現在も継続的に講師の採用およびトレーニングを行っており、ここ2週間で20名の新講師がレッスンを開始し、 4月中旬までに更に20名の新講師を迎える予定でもあります。 このことから、ピークレッスンの時間帯におよそ800レッスン（週）の予約スロットが増えることとなりますのでどうぞご期待ください。
現在、皆さまにはご迷惑をおかけしており大変申し訳ございませんが、新講師増員計画は順調に進んでおりますので このことは解消に向かっておりますことをお知らせします。

Hi everyone,

Thanks for using The English Farm. We know that lessons are difficult to find these days, especially at short notice. We recommend that you do your best to book ahead of time where you can, and if you're unable to make a lesson, please cancel as soon as possible to free up the slot for someone else. We have also asked our teachers to add as many slots as they can to meet the demand.

Happy February to you all! In the northern hemisphere, February is the month when you start to notice the sun coming back to the land. It's no longer dark at 3–4pm. I'm guessing that in the southern hemisphere, you're beginning to feel fall in the air. A month of transition no matter where you live, including here at The English Farm.

TEFtalk

弊社オリジナルのオンラインビデオチャットツール TEFtalk への移行は継続中です。ローンチは順調で、定番のプラットフォームになる日も近いです。使いやすく講師や生徒にも好評を頂いておりますが、不具合がいくつかの発生しておりますため、改めてゼロから書き直す計画中です（2、3か月以上の見込み）。
The English Farm では、安定したサービスをご提供させていただくよう常に取り組んでおります。ご理解・ご協力のほどよろしくお願いいたします。

さらにThe English Farm にとって豊作のお知らせです。ようこそ、Louis先生、Ron先生、Garth先生、Henri先生、Jus先生!

2021年最初のニュースは、通常よりもお伝え事項が多く長文となります。昨年12月の投稿から、新たに6人の講師が加わりました。そして一人の講師が新たな旅立ちを迎えます。そして恒例の Employee of the Month 賞*のご紹介です。

It's our first newsletter of 2021, and it's going to be a bit longer than usual because we have lots to share! Six new teachers have come on board since the December post, and one teacher is leaving for new horizons. Plus, as always, we announce our Employee of the Month.

今月は新講師7名のご紹介です！11月の Employee of the Month受賞の Hina先生は AMI-Quebecへの寄付を選択されました。

We've added 7 new teachers this month! And our Employee of the Month is Hina—she's donating her award money to AMI-Quebec.

Employee of the Month: Caroline先生

Caroline先生は The English Farm に加わって一年未満にもかかわらず、多大なる活躍をしています。 先生の教育指導スキルと親しみやすさは、大勢の生徒から支持を得ており、またスタッフ会議、トレーニング、講師間の談話にも積極的に参加する先生は、TEFチームにもなくてはならない存在です。
先生は、Alabama branch of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) への寄付を選択されました。下記、先生からのコメントです。

Alabama は美しい私の故郷ですが、住民は助けを必要としています。 ACLU は、人権や刑事司法を支援し、Alabama 住民の政治的権利を尊重し、確保できるようにする重要な役割をしています。
