Craig gives his support to U.K. hospices

By Yumi on April 22 2019

Hello everyone,

April's Employee of the Month award* goes to Craig—a teacher who is always such a pleasure to have in staff meetings and workshops because of his good-natured presence, ability to both share knowledge and stay curious about what others have to say, and of course, his brilliantly funny jokes. In fact, Craig is so inclusive that a couple of our newer additions to The English Farm staff came with his introduction.

Craig has written numerous discussions posts and blogs posts such as "Use questions to add impact to your speaking test answer""G.B.C. sample answer - What would you change about your job if you could?" and "Think of your English like meat and potatoes" to name a few. Everything Craig does seems to come from a place of genuinely wanting to help others, whether it’s making suggestions for The English Farm, offering to use his own equipment to help make the site better, or being extremely hospitable to other teachers visiting Greece. We are incredibly lucky to have him on our team!

Craig has chosen to donate to Walking the Thames Path.

From Craig:

I'm donating the money to these hospices because they richly deserve it. We have all lost someone. It's tough to think about going through it without institutions like these, with staff who are so human and so strong.

Thank you for being such a delight to work with and learn from, Craig. And thank you for supporting Walking the Thames Path!

Warm regards,
Yumi

*Note: For those of you who are newer to The English Farm, our Employee of the Month award goes to the teacher or staff member who consistently goes above and beyond. The winner of the award chooses a charity that The English Farm donates to on their behalf.
