We are pleased to offer two new courses. The first, Expert Interviews, is an in-depth look at how to conduct a successful expert interview, with plenty of chances to practice! The second course, Business Idioms, teaches English idioms that you'll hear and use in your work, as well as in the rest of your life.
We have added a new course, Collocations in Use, with both Intermediate and Advanced levels. This course will help you express everyday ideas more like a native speaker and improve your fluency in English. If you're interested in taking your vocabulary to the next level, check it out!
We are pleased to announce an addition to our course offerings. International Negotiations is a short, impactful guide to negotiating in English. There are 10 units covering all aspects of the process, from building the relationship to closing the deal. As we all know, COVID-19 is spreading quickly and has now become a global pandemic. Many people have been asked to stay home, disrupting their work. However, as The English Farm is an online service, all of our employees already work from home. So it's business as usual here at TEF—there will be no interruption in our service to you.
The English Farm is no longer exempt from sales tax in Japan, so from April 1st, 10% sales tax will be charged on all purchases made in Japan.
We have three new courses now available at TEF. Two are other levels of current courses, and one is a new offering.
We have decided to publish the news biweekly to reduce the amount of information in each edition. The beginning of the month will include updates on the technical side of things (new courses and site improvements, etc.), and the end of the month edition will focus on new teachers and the Employee of the Month award.
If you work in the pharmaceutical industry or are preparing for the IELTS exam (or both!), we've got a course for you.

In testing, the site has been unstable, and there have been some times when it has not worked well in different regions around the world. We are sorry if this has been inconvenient. This month we rolled out changes that will improve things—there should be fewer issues with speed and stability. We'll continue to update you as we fine-tune the site.
Greetings everyone!
August is my favorite month of the summer. Here in Massachusetts, U.S.A., it's still hot in the daytime but starting to get chilly at night. I know it's not like that for everyone around the world—I hope the weather where you are becomes this beautiful soon!
We have decided to post news once a month now rather than once a week. So here is your first monthly update from The English Farm.
