This course is designed to improve email-writing skills. It goes through the process and structure of emails, the language and vocabulary of emails, and how to be more effective when writing them. There is also a unit on language used in social media.
A wide range of situations and topics are included, both personal and professional. If you need to write emails in English, this is the course for you!

The English Farm has added a new course: English File from Oxford University Press. This is a general English course that covers all skills. There are 8 levels, from Beginner to Advanced Plus, so every student will be able to find the book that's best for them.

Today we successfully upgraded TEFtalk, our lesson platform. From today, we will be using TEFtalk for all lessons. You don't need extra software. It works safely in your browser. You can use any device (PC, mobile, Android or Apple). All you need to do is log in to our site, and go to the TEFtalk page.

Last year, in December, we released TEFtalk, our communications platform. We have been working on this project since 2018.
We will be releasing a major update to TEFtalk on October 26th. This is the final phase of our transition away from Skype. There are some big changes, so please read this message carefully, especially if you are still using Skype.
From next week, we will be encouraging all lessons to take place on The English Farm website using TEFtalk.

We've just published two new courses for students taking the GCAS exam. The first one, GCAS Strategies, covers general strategies for success in speaking tests, followed by an in-depth look at each section.
This month we celebrate a new course and a new group of teachers! Plus our June Employee of the Month.
We've brought on two dozen more new teachers from around the world to serve our growing roster of students. I believe we now have teachers on every continent except Antarctica. Every one of our carefully selected staff is experienced and fully trained so that we can provide the best service possible. I'm proud to be a member of this team.

Greetings! As the seasons change, we continue to grow here at the Farm. We have two new courses on offer: an advanced level of pronunciation, and an orientation course for new students.
Lots of new teachers from around the world have joined The English Farm in the last month, which means that there will be about 700 extra lessons available per week!

Over the past 4 years, The English Farm has maintained consistent pricing. However, there are significant costs to hiring the best teachers and creating the best online learning space.
Therefore, The English Farm will increase prices from April 1st.
We are investing in a number of exciting developments. We are updating our site to be faster and easier to use, producing tools to help you learn better, introducing new courses and learning exercises, and improving training for our teachers.

We recommend that you do your best to book ahead of time where you can, and if you're unable to make a lesson, please cancel as soon as possible to free up the slot for someone else. We have also asked our teachers to add as many slots as they can to meet the demand.
Happy February to you all! In the northern hemisphere, February is the month when you start to notice the sun coming back to the land. It's no longer dark at 3–4pm. I'm guessing that in the southern hemisphere, you're beginning to feel fall in the air. A month of transition no matter where you live, including here at The English Farm.
It's our first newsletter of 2021, and it's going to be a bit longer than usual because we have lots to share! Six new teachers have come on board since the December post, and one teacher is leaving for new horizons. Plus, as always, we announce our Employee of the Month.
