New teachers and Skye supports safe families

By Di on May 25 2020

Greetings! I hope you are safe and well during this difficult time. The English Farm is business-as-usual, so our service will not be affected by the coronavirus.

Today we welcome two new teachers, and introduce the Employee of the Month for May 2020.

New teachers: Philip, and Jeremy Lucas

  • Philip comes to us from Chicago, Illinois, in the U.S. Besides teaching, he also works at a global financial institution in their Finance and Accounting department, dealing with process automation, project management and adapting to changing technology. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, lifting kettlebells, and learning Spanish.
  • Jeremy Lucas lives in the U.K., where he was born and raised. He has 35 years of experience teaching English to adults and professionals, and a strong background in project management and commercial development. When he's not teaching, Jeremy is a semi-professional musician and writes children's books.

Employee of the Month: Skye

We're pleased to announce that Skye is our Employee of the Month for May 2020. As the art director for The English Farm, Skye creates and supervises all the graphic design throughout our site. You will see his work everywhere you look!

Skye has chosen to donate his award money to Safe Woman Safe Family because, in his words,

People across the world are currently closed in with someone who may be an abuser and ultimately may die because of this. I want for these people to be safe and have the ability to escape their tough situations.

Thank you, Skye, for all your gorgeous artwork! We truly wouldn't be the same without you.

Be safe, everyone,

Di
