Please use this as a guide to help you once a post is done:
- Do you have a Trello card for the post?
- Is the url of the post on the Trello card? (If you change the post title, the url will change. Please change it on Trello, too, if you do.)
- Is the title of the post short and sweet? (This will be the url, so it can't be too long.)
- Are you sure the quote is attributed to the correct person?
- Do you have an image & the correct attribution for the image?
- Do you have the quote in bold on top? (So people can copy & paste it.)
- Does the post have a Language Point? Remember to focus on one language point!
- Did you highlight any new words, phrases or language points?
- Is the post itself short and sweet? This post is a good guideline for length.
-
Is the language easy to read? Are you introducing new language other than the idiom itself? (If so, can you change it to something simpler?)
-
Did you put in an example in a text box? (Bear in mind that every so often, you'll have something that you can't do this with.)
- Do you have the tag "Inspirational quotes" on? (We need this to differentiate these posts from other one-minute lesson posts.)
- Is there a "Note" in the "Note" section for the social media person to write a comment from? (For inspirational quotes, it's good to give a teaser of the language point so readers will be motivated to click to the link.)
-
Is there anything in the post you can link to another TEF blog, social media post, lesson, or course? (If so, please talk to Aki H and work with her.)
