To take a lesson on The English Farm, you just need to join the online classroom on TEFtalk. This page explains how. If you have any trouble, please tell your teacher or contact Tech Support.
Before your first lesson
Before you take your first lesson, please check the technical requirements for TEFtalk and test your device.
Taking your lesson
Once you have made a reservation, you will see "JOIN LESSON" links on your Dashboard and in your schedule. These will take you to your TEFtalk classroom.
Email notifications and reminders also have "JOIN LESSON" links.
Joining the lesson on TEFtalk
When it is time for your lesson, use one of the above ways to access your TEFtalk classroom.
In the classroom window, click "JOIN". The classroom will open. When your teacher is ready, they will also join the room.
First-time users
You will need to give access permissions to your microphone and camera, like you do with Zoom or Teams and other similar applications.
