• Train new teachers on how to do first lessons and skills assessments
• Review new teachers' first skills assessments and progress reports
• Review new teachers' first lesson records to ensure they have a precedent for future lesson records
• Use polls to get the Hatch Group's opinions
• Follow up with new teachers after their first lessons and give feedback on LRs
• Check in with new teachers to see how they are getting on after the first two weeks of teaching
• When advising a Hatch teach to contact a student by email, ask the teacher to send you the email first for checking. This is especially important for emails that require tact, like cancellations.
