I am a very open and communicative person who absolutely loves to travel, explore new cultures and learn new things. In my spare time, I read 20th Century literature, write short stories, think about languages, history and politics, and bike!
I was raised in Montreal, Canada and lived abroad for nearly 3 years. I spent a year in Vietnam and another one in Taiwan, and shorter periods of time in Greece, the Balkans and Turkey.
I'm a former Government of Canada civil servant with over six years of teaching experience.
I was a Teaching Assistant during Graduate school for three years, where I helped teach History and Political Sciences courses. I also taught English for a year in two elementary schools in Vietnam and have been with The English Farm for nearly 3 years.
My teaching focus is on developing your conversational capacity, be it casual or business. You will speak for more than 70% of the class while I correct pronunciation and take note of recurring mistakes.
I also love East Asian History and geopolitics so would be happy to discuss these topics with you!
I worked as a Policy and Media Analyst for the Government of Canada for almost 4 years. My time there took me through Canadian Heritage, Global Affairs Canada, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Working at The English Farm over the past year has been a great experience for me. Everyone on the team is kind and always willing to lend a hand. There is an international vibe in the company, as colleagues live in different parts of the world! People are always happy to share their cultural experiences and often bring a different perspective on the English language.
