8 Technical issues and other complications
TECHNICAL ISSUES AND OTHER COMPLICATIONS
- When the lesson was made impossible or cut short due to tech issues or other forces beyond your control, the following steps should be taken:
- Fill out a lesson record:
- Mark the student "present."
- Refund the point.
- Mark that you should get paid. (Note that if the problem is on your end and is recurring, action should be taken to fix it. You will be paid if it is a one-time occurrence. If it is becoming a habit and nothing is being done to fix it, you might not feel that you should be paid. Use your judgment if you think you should be paid or not. We trust teachers at TEF to decide for themselves).
