How to change the voice type and speed of your audio
There are 2 types of recordings for your lesson records:
- manual (a recording your teacher makes for you); and
- TEFbot (the automatic recording next to the words in your Vocabulary, Phrases, and Words to Practice lists on your lesson record and your edited homework).
You can choose from 4 different voice types:
- Male (British)
- Female (British)
- Male (American)
- Female (American)
And 5 different speeds:
- Extra-slow
- Slow
- Normal speed
- Fast
- Extra Fast
You can change the TEFbot voice type and speed in 4 easy steps.
1. Go to settings
Click "SETTINGS" on the top-right corner of your screen.
2. Go to your Profile
Click the PROFILE tab, and you will immediately jump to the editing page.
3. Scroll down to TEFbot settings
You will see the "Voice type" and "Voice speed" below.
4. Select your preferred voice type and speed, and press SAVE
You will know it has been saved when the system shows you a "The changes have been saved" message at the top of your screen.
