About me

I have always enjoyed exploring English since it can sometimes be a puzzle! I think that learning a second language, Spanish, was what helped me the most in understanding my own language. Now, I love to help others learn English because I believe that it is a key to opportunity. When I am not teaching am traveling, creating art, or cycling.

I attended a small private university in Tacoma, Washington where I studied abroad for various semesters in Europe and Latin America, predominantly in Spanish-speaking countries. Post-university I completed my TEFL certfication with ITTT and I am currently taking the Oxford University Press course "Teaching with Technology."
