Introduction

Read the following and find the transition words or phrases.

How do you make the world a better place through your company?

That’s an interesting question. Corporate social responsibility should be the cornerstone of every company. It forces companies to not only work towards their own benefit, but also towards the benefit of the community and world around them. For example, my company cuts down on paper by making everything online and digitized. In addition, we fund the planting of trees every year in our community. By doing so, not only have we saved tons of paper use, but we’ve also participated in saving the environment, and making the community a nicer place to live. Therefore, companies can participate in making the world a better place by contributing in different ways.
