Question: What do you think of Shinzo Abe's policies?
Answer: This question is difficult to answer for me, because his policies cover a wide range of topics. I have a different opinion on each topic.
When it comes to economic policy, I basically agree with his ideas. His policy, so called Abenomics, has made the employment rate improve for the last four years. Also, the base salary has slightly improved. And recently, he claimed to increase the budget for child care and education. As I think the low birth rate is one of the biggest issues, I strongly support his idea. One thing I worry about is a growing financial deficit, but I can't come up with any alternative solution. His economic policy may not be perfect, but it is quite good.
On the other hand, I disagree with the amendment of article 9 of the constitution regarding peacekeeping with no arms. Actually, what we did doesn't match the constitution. However, as much as we can manage now, we should keep this provision to show the peaceful Japanese mindset to the world.
Let me tell you why I like this answer so much:
1. There are plenty of natural phrases:
- When it comes to [subject].
- His economic policy may not be perfect, but it is quite good.
- I can't come up with any alternative solution.
- On the other hand...
2. The author started honestly, it is a difficult question and they also gave a reason about why it's a difficult question.
3. Ending with a "so what" by saying, "we should keep this provision to show the peaceful Japanese mindset to the world."
So keep writing, and do your best to use The English Farm's strategies to add complexity and impact like this person did.
